ALL of our lovely parents are invited to a whole school assembly on FRIDAY 28th JANUARY to see a little preview of our Take One Picture Assembly today, and to see some of the work their children have been doing based on the painting ‘ The Family of Darius before Alexander’ by Paolo Veronese, showing at The National Gallery in London.
Here’s a few photos from todays Assembly for the children…Our teachers came onto the scene one by one, with the narrators asking questions to help the children think about the painting, such as ‘Who is this person?’ ‘Why might they be kneeling here?’, ‘Where has this monkey come from and whatis it holding?’….
