Christmas 2011 at Ridgefield

As usual we have an action packed festive season planned for all our children. Keep looking here to see photos and videos as the seasons gets along. We wish all our parents and children happy holidays!

Dates for your diary

Saturday 26th November: The season is kicked off with our annual Winter Fair hosted by the friends. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever so come and enjoy the afternoon, try something tasty and stock up on gifts for the festive season.

30th November: School decoration day. We’re planning on transforming our school into a Winter Wonderland. We can’t wait!

2nd December: Turning on of the Christmas Lights. Every year we turn on the christmas lights after school on our real outdoor Christmas tree. Come and sing along to some old favourite Christmas carols and join in with the cheers as the lights come on.

7th December: Our KS1 Christmas Nativity will be staged at 2pm. Its always a feast of laughs and adorable costumes. Come and support our young thespians on their special day and look out for them in the local papers too.

9th December: The whole will be going to the Cambridge Arts Theatre to see a Pantomine! This promises to be a memorable occasion for all our children. Read more by clicking here.

13th December: The school Christingle Service will be on Tuesday at 2pm at St Martins Chruch.

15th December: Our Christmas parties. Each class celebrates the festive season together.

Christmas lunch for all the children. Mrs Day always cooks up a scrumptious traditional Christmas dinner.

Lights tour at Ely Cathedral. KS1 are planning a memorable trip to Ely Cathedral to learn about lights at Christmas.
